Longing for More
“I wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying your book Longing for More. The chapters on our identity in Christ as women really touched me. I had almost given up! I still long for the day when I can fully use my gifts and life without thought or considering 'Hmmm, but what if someone get upset because I'm a woman?' To be given the same opportunities in ministry, to be allowed to fully function in the gifts and talents that I believe God has given me is something I dream of--not just for myself, but for my daughter, the young woman I am mentoring as a worship leader, and the little girls that sit on the front row in the church service. I hope those little girls can grow up and truly live out their potential within the walls of the church. How much stronger the army of God will be when all of it's soldiers can truly be engaged in combat!
