Many Christian leaders in churches and organizations long for a greater ability to discern and do the will of God; however, they lack understanding and experience with discernment at the leadership level. A spiritual director can serve a leadership group in much the same way he or she serves an individual. They are trained to listen for and call attention to God's presence and guide the group in a discernment process when a decision needs to be made.
